I have worked with Cindy multiple times over the years and have always been thrilled with the results. Whether it was choosing paint colors and designing the powder room in my San Jose condo, re-arranging existing furnishings and decor in a way that made much more sense, or figuring out how to integrate a weird pass-through room into a bedroom to make a master bathroom suite, her suggestions have always been great. One of my favorites was when she saw a 1930s sideboard at a second hand shop and told me it would make a great bar under the open staircase in my condo. She was right! It was really unique and looked great for only $249. I knew Cindy in Michigan and asked her to help me with design in my San Jose, CA condo as well as my 100-year old Tucson home when she was visiting or spending the winters out West. Now that she has moved to Tucson and opened Encantada Designs, Cindy is helping me with my current home - a mid-Century modern. She is particularly gifted in her ability to choose and combine color and texture, and expand on your basic ideas by pulling in themes and styles you don't even realize you like. It's like she has a sixth sense about will work for you even if you don't know it yourself! She has suggested things I never would have thought of, like going with a very light shade of pink in my bedroom, and she got me to think differently about what could be done in my space. Give her a few ideas and photos and Encantada Designs will help you pull it all together within your budget. Don't think that using a designer means you have to pay $3,000 for a high-end couch. Cindy and her team will help you figure out how to have style without paying more than you want to.
